JOB POSTING: Plumbing/Heating Engineer/Wholesale Salesperson

General: Anoka, MN based company is an Employee-Owned, leading regional sales representative agency for major manufacturers in the world of HVAC, plumbing and water treatment. We are in search of an individually who is a self-starter, great teammate, is highly technical with the capability to understand and sell technical products and works well under pressure. This person will be interacting with accounts in North Dakota and NW Minnesota, along with a focused effort regarding a handful of accounts in the Twin Cities.

Job Description: Specific duties will include calling on Engineers, Wholesalers, Architects and Plumbing and Heating Contractors.

Requirements: Candidate should have a solid background/interest plumbing & HVAC industries. Candidate must possess superior technical skills, as this position will require regular contact (both face-to-face and via phone/email) with customers who will rely on his/her technical expertise. This person should be self aware, motivated and detail-oriented, with great customer follow-through and a team first mentality.

Terms: This will be a full-time, salaried position with a group (pooled) bonus program based on company performance (Bonus to be introduced after 1 year of employment). Salary to be determined based upon skill set and experience – but to be generally in-line with other outside sales positions in the industry. Soderholm & Associates is an Employee-Owned company . We are looking for candidates with the highest level of integrity, and positivity to join our ownership group. Working in a friendly, fast, fun, and fulfilling environment.

Entry of Plumbing & Heating parts orders with on-line vendor websites, and local shipping dept. Enter corresponding customer orders and purchase orders.

Process vendor invoices, matching to customer orders, verifying the accuracy of shipment. Invoice customers. Being friendly, courteous, service-oriented; work well with a variety of staff.

Ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors on the phone to co-ordinate orders and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Maintain parts inventory, and replenish when needed. Process credit paperwork when needed.

Light receptionist duties.

Must maintain a high level of organization; ability to analyze paperwork to determine accuracy. basic concepts of inventory and how it’s affected by orders, and invoicing. High level of computer competency.
