Currently, Soderholm & Associates is offering a multitude of training seminars for engineers, contractors, and wholesalers. While our seminars naturally emphasize the features and benefits of the products we represent, we balance them with a good amount of generic industry information that transcends brand names. We recognize the need to provide more than a simple sales pitch.
Current training seminars we are offering include:
- Commercial Water Tempering and Mixing: The technology, codes, standards, applications, and different system designs for thermostatic and pressure balance mixing valves (master mixing, point-of-use, and emergency fixture tempering valves).
- Commercial Water Softening and Conditioning: A generic overview of hard water, basic softener chemistry, how softeners work, commercial softener sizing, system options, and softener spec writing.
- Backflow Prevention: An overview of different backflow prevention devices, the different applications for these devices, and the state codes mandating their use.
- Residential Water Heater Service School: An overview of common service issues with residential atmospheric, powervent and electric heaters. Hands-on training with working models.
- Commercial Water Heater Sizing: How to calculate peak GPH demand and select appropriate equipment to meet this demand.
- Commercial Water Reclamation Systems: The ABC's of reclaiming stormwater, graywater, and water from other sources. Includes system sizing, design, installation, etc..
